How does purchasing a giftcard on The Topup Store work?

You can add your favourite giftcard(s) to your shopping cart on the website. After you’ve chosen a product you can pay for your products via one of the offered payment methods. As it is a digital payment, your payment will be processed immediately. After receiving the payment, your code(s) will be shown on screen and sent to you by email.

Is a giftcard usable for everything?

No, every giftcard has a different use. On each individual product page you can see what that specific giftcard can be used for.

Can I use my product in every country?

It depends. Some products can be used in multiple countries, while others can only be used in one country. To be sure that your product works in your country, we recommend to buy it on the website of the country in which you wish to redeem your giftcard(s).

How long does it take for me to receive my giftcard?

After your order has been completed, we will send you your code(s) immediately by email. This should take about 30 seconds. In some circumstances, for example with large orders, it could take a little longer. If you haven’t received an email after half an hour, we advise you to get in touch.

Do I need an account to place an order at The Topup Store?

No, you don’t need an account with us to order your favourite gift cards, but it does have a lot of benefits! You will automatically participate to our free loyalty programme and you can place orders faster in the future. Click here to create one.

How do I use a giftcard?

The order confirmation with your codes will also entail instructions on how to redeem your giftcard(s) quick and easy. This information can also be found on the product page of the product that you ordered as well as in your confirmation email.

What should I do when I put in the wrong information when placing my order?

If you entered a wrong name or email address and didn’t get your confirmation because of it, write down your order number and get in touch.

What do I do if I bought and received a giftcard, but I would like to return it?

According to the law you have 14 days to return your bought product under the condition that the credit code hasn’t been used or redeemed. In case the credit code has been used or redeemed, it is no longer possible to get a refund. If you are eligible for a refund, we will return your payment amount in 14 days.

Warning: the right of withdrawal doesn’t apply to giftcards and/or products with a digital content that haven’t been delivered on a material carrier.

Why is my order being checked?

If your order has been checked, it means we haven’t been able to confirm that the order was legitimate. To prevent fraud, we will investigate your order further. When your order is legitimate you will receive your product as soon as possible. It is possible that we will ask you for further information. In case a transaction is fraudulent, we will cancel the order and report this to the necessary authorities.

What should I do when my giftcard doesn’t work?

We are sorry that your giftcard doesn’t work. We will help you! Please contact us and we will do our best to come to a solution. We would like to note, however, that the codes sold at The Topup Store are generally speaking only valid on accounts which have the same country settings as the website (i.e. codes bought on the UK website are usually only valid with UK accounts).

What does the loyalty program entail?

With the free loyalty program of The Topup Store you get more out of the purchase of your favourite gift cards. For example, you save credits for free gift cards, take part in exclusive, member-only promotions and your benefits increase the more you spend. Do I need an account to participate in the loyalty program?

Yes, you need an account to participate in the loyalty program. This way we can see which purchases you have made and award you credits for them. Also, make sure that you are logged in with this account when you make a purchase so that you get credits for this.

Why would I participate in the loyalty program?

By participating in the loyalty program you save for many extras free-of-charge, such as free gift cards, vouchers and unique giveaways. Thus, you can easily buy gift cards and take advantage of many extras for free.

Is it obligatory to join the loyalty program when I want to buy a product?

No, it is not obligatory to participate in the loyalty program if you want to buy a product.

How do I get to a higher status?

You earn status points with every order you place. If you have enough status points for a higher status within a year, then you can enjoy all the benefits of that for a year after that. status. The moment you achieve this status, your status point balance will be reset. If you haven’t earned enough status points within this year to maintain the status, you will go down one level the following year. If you’ve earned enough status points to maintain the status, but not to achieve a higher status? Then you remain the same status for an additional year. As soon as you earn enough points to reach a higher status, your new status starts from that day for a year and your status point balance will be reset.

An example:
You earn 100 status points with a purchase you’ve made on 1 January 2020. You are silver immediately and can enjoy all the benefits that this status entails from that moment until 31 December. Then, you make an additional purchase on 1 July that earns you 500 status points, which means you immediately reach gold. You can then enjoy all the benefits of your new gold status until 30 June 2021. If you have not made any further purchases this year, you will be downgraded to the silver status from 1 July 2021. This status will then be valid through to 30 June 2022.
